In Loving Memory of The Vivienne

Honouring a Queen Who Brought Light, Laughter, and Love to Our Community

The Oxford Pride team is heartbroken to learn of the passing of The Vivienne, a beloved queen who held a special place in our hearts. Known for her extraordinary talent, infectious humour, and unwavering support for the LGBTQIA+ community, she was not just an icon but a dear member of our Pride family.

The Vivienne’s kindness and generosity were felt deeply whenever she visited Oxford. She always made time for our community, bringing light and laughter wherever she went. Her presence was a source of joy and inspiration, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all of us.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to James’ family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We stand with you in grief and solidarity.

The Vivienne was due to perform at Oxford Pride on Friday, 14th February 2025, an event we had eagerly anticipated. We will provide further updates about this event later in the week. In the meantime, let us honour her memory by celebrating the incredible legacy she leaves behind and supporting one another through this loss.

The Vivienne was more than a performer – she was a shining light in our community. May her creativity, passion, and love continue to inspire us all.

Rest in power, Viv. You will forever be in our hearts.

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
